GTS rants: A rant against stupid trades.
As most people know, I have only recently got into the Global Trade Station game after playing Pokemon from Diamond. The reason was that my old DS was unable to support an internet connection, but I have recently noticed that trades on the GTS are getting stupid. Look for any Pokemon wether it is a Pikachu, Bunnelby, Bidoof or a Vivillon, you find people putting things up and requesting a Xerneas, Yvetal, Zygarde or Event Legendaries for them. It is stupidity. I would not trade a Xerneas for a Bunnelby or any common Pokemon. When I deposit something into the GTS I ask for something in the same tier in exchange. If I deposit a Bidoof I would ask for a Common Pokemon in exchange, Bank Pokemon for Bank, Legendary for Legendary, Shiny for Shiny and things like that. I also request for the Pokemon to be around the same level as the one I am trading. Fair deal, right? Once I put in a 6IV Totodile and requested a Scatterbug. But I didn't put the message "6IV" in my description, and as Starters are quite popular on the GTS the deal went through. I have heard of people being scammed but messages of "6IV Pokemon" and the Pokemon they received had 0IV. As for the Event Legendary request, they are impossible. Events cannot be traded on the GTS. The only Event Legendary I own is Celebi, and that was the Poke Bank distribution. I have also seen Poke Ball Pattern Vivillon on there, which is definitely hacked in, and in some cases, even Shiny. Poke Ball Pattern Vivillons are shiny-locked, meaning it is impossible to get them legitimately as a Shiny. Same with the Fancy Pattern, and so far, I have found no Fancy Pattern Vivillon on the GTS. This is because it came in a Cherish Ball, so you cannot put it on the GTS. I found a Petition by a fan who is getting annoyed by the impossible trade requests that he has started a Petition to stop impossible requests. There is also a Tumblr blog called "GTS trades that will never happen" and it shows all the stupidity, such as "Bidoof for Arceus" trades and things like that.

I highly agree the GTS is terrible. It's either GIZE MEH LEGANDARIY or a Pokemon that is at a level you can't get it at. Like for instance level 9 Zekrom.
